National General Holdings Corp. is seeking a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to drive growth through new business, cross-sell, and strong retention. You will build pipelines with local leads, develop community relationships, and perform outbound prospecting to convert opportunities into sales.

The role emphasizes partnerships with leadership for local marketing, product knowledge, and adherence to compliance and customer experience standards. Base pay is hourly with incentive potential.

Qualifications

• 0– 2 years of experience
• P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company.

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline, including local lead generation and referrals
• Develop relationships within the community (e.g., dealerships, events, local partners) to support business growth
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition
• Deliver results aligned with performance standards, compliance requirements, and customer experience expectations
