This fully remote role focuses on defending personal injury matters, with responsibilities spanning complex litigation, trial readiness, and collaboration with carriers and experts. The ideal candidate holds a JD from a top-tier law school, active Bar admissions in one of the listed states, and 5+ years of substantive experience in insurance defense and personal injury.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Arizona, California, New Jersey, New York or Texas.
• 5+ years of substantive experience in insurance defense litigation and personal injury.

Responsabilités

• Manage complex insurance defense litigation matters from inception through resolution, including bodily injury, wrongful death, premises liability, motor vehicle, trucking, and general liability claims.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies designed to achieve efficient and favorable client outcomes.
• Analyze claims, evaluate liability and damages exposure, and provide strategic recommendations to clients and insurers.
• Draft and argue motions, prepare pleadings, oversee discovery, and manage all aspects of case development.
• Conduct and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and coordinate expert engagements.
• Represent clients at court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, settlement conferences, and trials.
• Collaborate closely with insurance carriers, clients, experts, and co-counsel to ensure effective case management.
