The Atlantic District in Somerset, PA seeks a General Agent to lead our Somerset office, coaching a team of sales professionals and driving growth across the state. You will build a culture of collaboration, deliver strategic plans, and manage carrier relationships to ensure top products for clients.

Ideal candidates bring insurance licenses, a strong track record in independent agency sales and management, and a solid grasp of PA market dynamics.

Qualifications

• Active Property and Casualty and Life and Health licenses.
• Proven success in independent agency sales and management.
• Strong knowledge of the Pennsylvania insurance market.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse sales team.
• Experience with agency management systems and data-driven reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Somerset office and set a clear, positive vision.
• Recruit, train, and support sales representatives expanding their books.
• Develop and execute plans to grow locally and statewide.
• Manage carrier relationships to provide best products for clients.
• Monitor KPIs to meet growth goals while maintaining service standards.
• Foster an empowering, supportive team culture.
