The Atlantic District, based in Somerset, Pennsylvania, is seeking a dedicated General Agent to build a personal book of business and meet with clients to provide financial security and coverage options.

You will shape your schedule, grow the agency presence, and collaborate with the home office while delivering exceptional service to families and business owners in the Somerset area.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Life and Health Insurance License is required.
• Three or more years of direct insurance sales or field underwriting experience.
• Strong ability to build and manage professional networks from the ground up.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and agency management software.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding growth targets.
• Excellent verbal communication skills for presenting policy information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to grow our presence throughout the Somerset community.
• Identify potential clients and meet them where they are to discuss long-term financial security.
• Maintain high standards of ethical practice while helping families navigate their coverage options.
• Collaborate with our home office to streamline onboarding of new policyholders.
• Participate in local business events and community gatherings to strengthen our agency's reputation.
