Job summary

Ty Gittens Insurance Agency, a State Farm independent contractor, is seeking an Account Representative responsible for growing the agency through customer relations and cross-department coordination. You will act as a liaison between customer needs and agency teams, helping customers choose appropriate insurance and financial services.

The role emphasizes developing leads, scheduling appointments, delivering friendly service, and building lasting client relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred.
• Experience in managing customer relationships preferred.
• Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs.
• Communication skills - written, verbal, and listening.
• Dedicated to customer service.
• Able to anticipate customer needs.
• Able to effectively relate to customers.
• P&C license.

Responsibilities

• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market products and services to help meet those needs.
• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding product availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
• Promote successful and long-lasting customer relations.
