Job summary

Learning Network seeks an experienced Instructional Manager to lead and coach a team of online K‑12 educators, ensuring high‑quality instruction, proactive outreach, and strong family partnerships. You will model ownership, accountability, and empathy while driving student engagement and outcomes in a distributed, digital environment.

You will oversee live instruction, strategy for performance improvement, and regular coaching sessions, with occasional travel for testing proctoring and in‑person

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or related field required.
• Teacher certification and an approved teacher preparation program required.
• Ability to obtain certifications in Arizona, Colorado, Washington, and other states as may be assigned (required).
• 5+ years of successful work experience in education, educational technology, or a related industry (required).
• 5+ years of successful experience serving students, families, customers, or other stakeholders in a service‑oriented environment (required).
• 3+ years of experience managing people (required).
• Ability to pass required background checks (required).

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop educators to meet service and instructional standards.
• Lead and support a team of teachers and paraprofessionals.
• Conduct 1:1 coaching focused on growth, student outcomes, and accountability to standards.
• Observe live instruction and coach toward stronger student engagement and relationship-building.
• Monitor instructional quality, student progress, intervention effectiveness, and communication practices to ensure excellence and consistency.
• Develop performance improvement plans when standards are not met, coaching with candor, support, and accountability.
• Facilitate team meetings, training sessions, and professional development that continually raise the standard of practice.
• Support proctoring during testing windows, including occasional travel, to ensure fair and secure assessments.
