Job summary

LEAD Public Schools seeks an Instructional Manager to grow within the network and amplify impact for students and families. You will supervise teacher performance through coaching cycles—observations, feedback, and targeted coaching plans—and help teachers implement LEAD’s academic model for student success.

Qualifications

  • Valid teaching license and TN licensure preferred.
  • At least three years of exemplary teaching experience with strong pedagogy.
  • Coaching experience with instructional moves.
  • Experience leading a group of adults in K-12 settings; team facilitation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop talent: recruit, onboard, train, evaluate and manage teacher performance.
  • Conduct formal reviews and compensation discussions per HR policies.
  • Engage teachers in reflective practice and build rapport.
  • Motivate teachers to prioritize student outcomes and growth.
  • Promote curriculum standards and act as content-area expert.
  • Develop coaching plans with clear goals and success measures.
  • Track progress and gradually release instructional responsibilities.
  • Collaborate on professional learning plans and culture-building.
