Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Instructional Designer I to craft high-impact learning solutions for enterprise-wide audiences. You will design and develop eLearning courses and training documents to support Ryder across the organization.

Responsibilities include creating course outlines, scripts, and storyboards; applying evidence-based learning approaches; and collaborating with subject matter experts to implement engaging, online programs using Storyline and Rise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Business, Education, Communications or related field.
• 1+ years of professional instructional design.
• Proficient in Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise).
• Experience in Camtasia.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite – Illustrator, Photoshop.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deliver eLearning and other educational resources (video, microlearning, QRGs).
• Design, develop, and support learning programs as assigned.
• Develop course outlines and scripts through design/development phases.
• Apply learning methodologies to analyze integrity and audience suitability of materials.
• Design engaging learning activities aligned with Ryder’s goals, operating principles and competencies.
• Develop storyboards for e-learning and videos; use Storyline, RISE, etc.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to create courses and resources.
• Establish guidelines for process and project management related to instructional design.
