Job summary

Ryder is seeking an Instructional Designer I to join our Talent Management Team. This individual contributor will design and develop highly impactful learning solutions for an enterprise audience, creating eLearning courses and training documents to support Ryder.

The role emphasizes collaboration with subject matter experts, development of course outlines and scripts, and using tools like Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise) and Camtasia to deliver engaging training across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, business, communications or related field.
• 1+ years of professional instructional design experience.
• Proficient in Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise).
• Experience with Camtasia.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deliver instructionally sound eLearning and other educational resources (video, microlearning, QRGs).
• Design, develop and support learning programs with or without guidance from leadership.
• Develop course outlines and all course documents (scripts) through development phases.
• Apply learning methodologies to evaluate instructional approach and materials.
• Create engaging learning activities aligned with Ryder’s goals and competencies.
• Develop storyboards for e-learning and videos; use Storyline and Rise.
