Job summary

Planet Group is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to develop online and classroom training, apply adult learning principles, and collaborate with SMEs to deliver effective learning solutions.

The role focuses on designing engaging eLearn and classroom content, managing course development from intake to LMS launch, and ensuring timely delivery within a 12-month contract. Strong portfolio and LMS experience are required.

Qualifications

1–3 years of instructional design and project management experience.
Portfolio demonstrating web-based training/eLearn examples required.
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and applying instructional design.
Experience developing eLearning using Storyline, Rise, and Vyond.
Editing/writing skills with familiarity with style guides.
Experience with LMS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to create online and classroom training.
Design engaging learning experiences meeting business and learner needs.
Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to deliver effective learning solutions.
Execute course development from intake to LMS launch.
Revise and develop eLearn and classroom content.
Launch and test learning content within the LMS.
Generate quarterly training cost reports for billing.
Manage projects and serve as main contact for the team.
