Job summary

FastTek Global is seeking a detail-oriented Instructional Designer with strong project management skills to join our team. You will apply adult learning principles to create online and classroom training solutions, collaborating with SMEs and stakeholders.

Responsibilities include end-to-end course development in the LMS, designing eLearn and classroom content, testing in LMS, and generating training cost reports. A portfolio demonstrating web-based training is required.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and the ability to apply instructional design methodologies to develop effective training solutions.
• Competency in developing eLearning courses using Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Vyond
• Well-developed writing, research, and editing skills, with familiarity in applying standard style guides
• Proven project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working within a Learning Management System (LMS)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• A portfolio demonstrating web-based training/eLearn examples is required for consideration for this role.

Responsibilities

• Execute course development from in-take through launch in the LMS
• Revise, design, and develop eLearn and classroom instructional content
• Launch and test learning content within the LMS
• Generate quarterly reports on itemized training costs for billing purposes
• Other related ID tasks, as needed, per project
• Primary point of contact between Consumers Energy and the subsidiary to coordinate training initiatives.
