Job summary

Slater Infrastructure Group seeks an Instructional Design Manager for a fully remote contract role, with potential to convert to permanent. You will transform SME input, regulations, and manuals into engaging courses that busy professionals will complete using adult-learning principles and SCORM/xAPI.

You'll own end-to-end content development, set timelines, and collaborate with SMEs, product and engineering. 40 hours weekly; bill rate to be confirmed; conversion possible by mutual agreement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in instructional design, curriculum development or technical training.
• Genuine instructional design craft and ability to build from raw material.
• Designs for multiple learning styles and modalities.
• Hands-on with LMS/LXP and SCORM/xAPI.
• Able to work independently in a fully virtual role.

Responsibilities

• Design and build course modules, assessments and learning pathways.
• Create content for multiple learning styles in the same material.
• Collaborate with SMEs, product and engineers.
• Maintain SCORM and xAPI compliance and platform delivery.
• Lead content standards as the team grows.
