Job summary

Slater Certified is hiring an Instructional Design Manager to own course development for a remote, contract role with potential to convert to permanent. You will translate manuals, regulations, and SME input into engaging courses across styles, with end-to-end ownership from scoping to delivery.

In this fully virtual role, you’ll design, build, and review content, maintain learning standards, and partner with engineers and product teams. Starting as contract, with path to full-time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in instructional design, curriculum development or technical training development.
• Fluent in adult-learning practices and competency-based design.
• Hands-on with an LMS or LXP and with SCORM/xAPI.

Responsibilities

• Design and build course modules, assessments and learning pathways.
• Create content for multiple learning styles on the same material.
• Collaborate with SMEs and engineers to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Maintain SCORM/xAPI compliance and align with platform delivery.
