Job summary

Yelp is seeking an Inside Sales Representative who will work with small business owners to grow their advertising on Yelp. The role is 100% phone-based and remotely located, with a distribution of schedules and a strong emphasis on pipeline management in Salesforce.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in customer-facing roles or a bachelor’s degree, and a comfort with high-volume outbound dialing. You’ll be compensated with a base salary and uncapped commissions, totaling a competitive first-year

Qualifications

• GED/HS Diploma with 2+ years of customer-facing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with a demonstrated interest in sales/business or people-centric industry.
• No fear of the phone and prepared to make a high volume of outbound dials, daily.
• General computer and email proficiency - we use Google Suite and provide a Macbook laptop.

Responsibilities

• Educate, strategize, and discuss Yelp advertising programs through a high volume of outbound dialing to business owners.
• Work one of the following schedules in your local time: 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m., or 9:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m.
• Own and manage a pipeline of clients using Salesforce CRM.
• Sell advertising to small local businesses from home on a set Mon–Fri schedule.
