Sony Electronics Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to support the Western Region, Canada, and Specialty Sales teams. Ideal candidates can work from home and will be located in the western half of the United States.

The role focuses on proactive sales and operational support, acting as a liaison among customers, sales, operations, customer service, finance, and supply chain to ensure efficient processes and superior customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of related sales support, inside sales, customer service, operations, or business support experience.
• Demonstrated analytical skills with experience interpreting and reporting business data.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to work across cross-functional teams and build collaborative working relationships.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
• Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced business environment.

Responsibilities

• Support quote and pricing requests.
• Monitor order and shipment status.
• Manage purchase order and invoice activities.
• Assist with territory planning and customer events.
• Coordinate sales-related communications and drive timely resolution of customer issues.
• Maintain accurate sales records and provide reporting and insights.
• Assist with sales analytics for strategic decision making across the organization.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers and Business Development teams to identify process improvements.
• Support account growth initiatives and engagement with reseller, distributor, consultant, and end-user partners.
