Big Blue Bug Solutions is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to play a key role in driving pest control solutions for homes and businesses. The position blends remote work with mandatory in-office meetings in Providence, RI, and field training throughout the region.

You will handle a mix of inbound and outbound calls, upsell services, manage client accounts, and help the sales team hit monthly targets while delivering friendly, professional service.

Qualifications

• Previous phone or inside sales experience in a service-related industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills — you know how to connect with people and make them feel heard.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with customers over the phone.
• Comfortable handling objections and guiding customers toward a confident “yes.”
• Proven active listening and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated sales ability — you know how to close!

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls from homeowners and businesses seeking pest control solutions.
• Make outbound calls to follow up on leads, unsold estimates, lapsed customers.
• Call existing customers to offer additional services.
• Quote and close sales for services such as Home Owner Policies (annual service programs) and Mosquito & Tick programs.
• Manage a comprehensive portfolio of accounts, organizing inspection and follow-up appointments through the PestPac system.
• Build relationships with customers by actively listening, understanding their needs, and providing professional, friendly service.
• Record and manage all customer interactions, quotes, and follow-ups in PestPac, our CRM system.
• Help maintain organized sales pipelines and assist the sales team in hitting monthly goals.
