Qualifications

• 0-2 years relevant sales experience.
• High School diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge of selling principles, customer service, and product promotion.
• Understanding of metals industry advantageous.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell products to business and industrial establishments.
• Serve as primary contact for customers and maintain relationships.
• Manage assigned customer accounts and grow opportunities.
• Assess buying potential and develop sales strategies.
• Develop new prospects and identify leads to increase sales.

• Prepare quotations and provide to customers.
• Negotiate pricing/terms within guidelines and approvals.
• Follow up on quotes and ensure timely execution of agreements.
• Keep operations informed to fulfill terms.
