Job summary

Carrier Enterprise, a leading national distributor of residential and light commercial HVAC products, is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to support commercial contractor sales as a technical advisor and product advocate.

The successful candidate will configure, price, and quote technical and financial solutions, working closely with the commercial sales team. This position offers performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field; equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to read architectural blueprints and select appropriate solutions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
• Experience working with contractors is highly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Respond to new business opportunities and generate quotes for commercial sales.
• Support Account Managers and Sales Managers with new and existing accounts.
• Complete bids, submittals, and take-offs based on plans and specs.
• Follow up on quotes, bids, and submittals to close sales.
• Interact with customers, manufacturers, and the sales team via phone and email.
• Assist with training for Commercial dealers as needed.
• Identify sales opportunities and travel with the team as needed.
