Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced Property Claims Adjuster (Inside) for a full-time remote role in the United States. You will investigate and resolve both personal and commercial property losses, coordinating with contractors and independent adjusters to ensure timely settlements.

The position emphasizes strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills, with ongoing professional development and licensure within six months.

Qualifications

• Inside property claims experience in insurance.
• College degree or equivalent education in insurance or business.
• Knowledge of property claims investigation, valuation, negotiation, and settlement.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial property products and coverage.
• Ability to investigate thoroughly, assess damages, and reach settlements.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; ability to work with policyholders, agents, contractors.
• Strong organizational skills; manage multiple claims and maintain records.
• Willingness to obtain adjuster licenses within six months.
• Ability to support catastrophe assignments, including travel.
• Experience handling commercial property claims.
• Continuing education through IIA, CPCU, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve property claims, including losses and business income.
• Deliver customer-focused service via phone and internal channels.
• Coordinate with contractors and independent adjusters.
• Assist resolution specialists with contents valuation and depreciation holdback.
• Follow established claims procedures for coverage, investigation, valuation, negotiation, and settlement.
• Meet productivity targets: close at least 70 claim elements per month (85 for contents).
• Support catastrophe claims operations across service territory, including overnight travel if needed.
• Collaborate with agents, underwriting, marketing, and other stakeholders.
