Job summary

CorroHealth, Inc. seeks a highly skilled Coding Auditor to perform complex inpatient, facility and outpatient audits while ensuring documentation accuracy and coding compliance.

You will partner with the HIM Director, analyze findings, prepare client deliverables, and educate clients on coding best practices. A remote, full-time schedule is offered with opportunities for travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Active AHIMA or AAPC credential required (CCS/CPC/RHIT).
• Minimum 5 years coding/auditing in acute care hospital or consulting.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS and reimbursement.
• Proficiency with EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner/PowerChart, Meditech.

Responsibilities

• Analyze audit findings and identify root causes of errors.
• Prepare client reports with references to audit findings.
• Provide second-level QA to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Research inquiries on compliance, coding and denials; maintain confidentiality.
• Develop coding education materials and support client meetings.
• Travel as applicable and meet productivity standards.
