Job summary

CorroHealth, Inc. seeks an Auditing & Education Specialist to evaluate inpatient/outpatient coding, develop educational content, and deliver client-facing audit findings remotely. The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and collaboration with the consulting team.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of coding/auditing experience in acute care, AHIMA or AAPC certification, and proficiency with EMR systems and MS Office. Remote work supports client engagements across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• AHIMA or AAPC certification required; CCS/RHIT/RHIA preferred; CIC/COC considered.
• 5+ years’ experience coding and/or auditing in an acute care setting.
• Experience with telecommuting and electronic medical record systems required.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS guidelines and coding accuracy standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex concurrent and/or retrospective analysis of inpatient medical records to validate coded data.
• Prepare summary audit reports with references supporting findings.
• Provide education on coding to clients and deliver training materials.
• Ensure QA with minimum 95% accuracy and timely client deliverables.
