Job summary

CorroHealth, Inc. is seeking an experienced HIM auditor to assist the Director of HIM in auditing outpatient and Profee claims using our PARA Data Editor.

You will review coding changes, develop standardized client reports, respond to coding questions, and support the revenue cycle consulting team. Requires 5+ years in OP facility coding (ED, SDS, I&I, OBS, E/M facility) with CCS/COC/CPC certification; remote position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of current directly related experience in OP facility coding (ER, SDS, OBS, E/M)
• Expert knowledge in revenue cycle and outpatient coding guidelines
• CCS, COC or CPC certification required
• Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication and client-facing skills

Responsibilities

• Proficiently use PARA Data Editor to review and select claims for audit
• Audit OPPS/CAH charges and apply CMS and payer guidelines
• Prepare written Q&A entries and client-facing reports
• Develop and maintain knowledge of outpatient reimbursement processes
• Present findings to clients via web meetings
