Job summary

CorroHealth Inc. is seeking an experienced remote Healthcare Coding Auditor to join our Consulting Services team.

You will evaluate inpatient, outpatient, and physician practice coding assignments (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) and perform complex concurrent or retrospective reviews to validate data against accepted guidelines. The role requires AHIMA or AAPC credentials, 5+ years of acute care coding/audit experience, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• AHIMA or AAPC credential required.
• 5+ years’ experience coding and/or auditing in acute care.
• Experience with telecommuting and electronic medical record systems required.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex analysis of medical record documentation to validate coded data.
• Analyze findings and identify root causes of errors.
• Prepare client deliverables and audit reports with references to findings.
• Provide second-level QA of audit results prior to final submission.
• Report work time and products accurately and timely.
• Interact professionally with clients and team members to support business interests.
• Conduct audits and travel as assigned, maintaining high accuracy and productivity.
