Duke Health's Patient Revenue Management Organization seeks a Compliance Professional to implement and maintain programs that reduce regulatory and financial risk. The role emphasizes education, audits, and collaboration with clinicians and administrative staff across the revenue cycle.

The position is fully remote in the U.S., with a $10,000 sign-on bonus paid in installments. RHIA/RHIT/CCS and CPC/CCS certifications are required or preferred. Four years of related admin experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Four years administrative experience applying compliance, coding and auditing principles to insurance billing and revenue cycle.
• RHIA or RHIT or CCS certification required.
• CPC or CCS or RHIT or RHIA or CPMA certification preferred for professional coding.

Responsabilités

• Educate providers on compliance with government regulations (Medicare/Medicaid, HIPAA) with periodic updates.
• Identify coding and billing risk areas and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct routine internal audits of provider documentation in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to improve documentation, coding, and compliance processes.
