• Educate providers on compliance with government regulations with emphasis on Medicare/Medicaid.
• Identify coding and billing risk areas, conduct focused reviews and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct routine internal audits of provider documentation in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with physicians and internal staff to improve documentation, coding, and compliance, and review controls and policies.
