Job summary

Solventum is recruiting an Inpatient Consultant (Finance) to lead inpatient coding, CDI programs, and DRG assignments across facilities. The role involves collaboration with clinical teams and external clients, presenting clinical concepts, and ensuring compliance with coding standards.

The position requires 7+ years of coding or acute care experience, appropriate certifications (RHIT/RHIA with CCS or RN with CDI credentials), and the ability to travel up to 50% domestically or internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher with seven years of coding or clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Validate and apply software modules related to coding and training.
• Collaborate with coding and clinical teams and externals, including content creation.
• Present clinical and coding concepts to hospitals and implement CDI programs across facilities.
• Lead audits of medical record coding, documentation, compliance and DRG assignment.
• Uphold professional, quality and security standards per corporate policies.
