Datavant is looking for an experienced Inpatient Auditing Specialist to conduct coding audits on medical records. This fully remote role requires 3+ years of experience and offers a flexible schedule to help shape the future of healthcare.

Responsibilities include conducting audits, providing coder education, and ensuring compliance with coding standards. Preferred qualifications include CCS certification and a degree from an AHIMA-certified program.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience coding and auditing
• Preferred: CCS, RHIT, or RHIA credentials.
• Experience coding inpatient and outpatient records.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inpatient coding audits on medical records.
• Review non-CC/MCC records to assess proper coding.
• Provide coder education through the auditing process.
