Job summary

Datavant is looking for experienced and credentialed inpatient coders to join their fully remote team. The ideal candidates will have a strong attention to detail and comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology, playing a key role in enhancing healthcare data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of recent inpatient coding facility experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience at a Level I Trauma Center is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign diagnostic and procedural codes using ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes.
• Oversee and audit the work of Level 1 & 2 Coders.
• Champion documentation improvement opportunities.
