Job summary

Datavant is seeking experienced inpatient coders to join our remote team. You will assign ICD-10-CM/PCS codes, abstract records, and uphold accuracy benchmarks in a collaborative healthcare setting, working from your own workspace.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years inpatient coding, AHIMA credentials (CCS/RHIT/RHIA preferred), and strong communication. We offer comprehensive training, mentorship, and equipment, plus 401k and flexible schedules for PRN staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years inpatient coding experience in a facility.
• CCS, RHIT, or RHIA preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Assign ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes from patient records.
• Audit and oversee Level 1 & 2 coders as applicable.
• Maintain site productivity benchmarks and 95% coding accuracy.
