Qualifications

• Active CPC certification is required.
• In-depth ICD-10 and CPT coding knowledge with E&M leveling.
• Experience with a variety of clinical documentation and coding challenges.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Access to up-to-date ICD-10/CPT coding references and E&M guidelines.
• Familiarity with digital annotation tools or data-driven projects is a plus.
• Commitment to quality, accuracy and continuous learning in a fast-evolving healthcare/tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Annotate and review medical records, assigning ICD-10 and CPT codes accurately.
• Apply E/M leveling using official guidelines to support data quality.
• Refer to current coding references to maintain standards.
• Communicate with project stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities.
• Provide feedback on coding guidelines and edge cases to improve workflows.
• Contribute domain expertise to creating/validating coded datasets for AI training.
