Job summary

Solventum, a leader in health science solutions, seeks an Inpatient Consultant to apply coding and CDI expertise across diverse facilities. You will validate software modules, collaborate with clinical teams and external clients, and help implement CDI programs in multiple hospitals.

Success requires extensive inpatient coding experience, CDI credentials, and the ability to travel up to 50% domestically or internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 7+ years of coding or acute care clinical experience.
• High School Diploma/GED with 11+ years of clinical or coding experience.
• RHIT/RHIA with CCS certification with five years inpatient coding and CDI experience, or RN with CDI credentials (CDIP/CCDS) and 5 years inpatient CDI experience.
• Ability to travel up to 50% domestically/internationally.

Responsibilities

• Validation and application of software modules relating to coding and training.
• Collaborating with the coding and clinical teams and external clients, including content creation.
• Presenting clinical and coding concepts to hospitals and organizations and implementing CDI programs across facilities.
• Leading audit tasks of medical record coding, documentation, compliance and DRG assignment.
• Participating in corporate programs while upholding professional, quality and security standards.
