Job summary
Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP is seeking an Innovation Attorney for the Technology Companies Group (TCG), with flexibility to base in any U.S. office or fully remote in the US.
The role focuses on advancing innovation in legal services through people, process, and technology, particularly AI and generative AI, across the TCG practice group. You will lead projects, develop AI-powered workflows, and contribute to data dashboards while collaborating with attorneys, managers, and leadership
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor with admission to practice in good standing in a US jurisdiction.
- Minimum five years in a large law firm focusing on private offerings, venture capital, and transactions for emerging companies.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex ideas clearly.
- Experience with designing AI-powered workflows or agents.
- Understanding of knowledge management, practice and project management.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects to streamline delivery of legal services and optimize resources.
- Integrate technology, including generative AI, into legal practice; vetting, piloting, onboarding.
- Design and manage AI-powered workflow agents; establish guardrails and success metrics.
- Support the TCG deal data dashboard for strategic insights and reporting.
- Collaborate across offices, practice groups, and departments to execute initiatives.
