Job summary

Orrick is seeking an AI Project Attorney to support adoption and integration of AI in legal services. The role sits within the Innovation team and collaborates across offices, with opportunities for 100% remote US locations.

The attorney will lead AI use case development, workflows, and prompts, while training lawyers and managing projects to scale AI adoption across practice groups.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited university and US jurisdiction admission.
• Minimum of three (3) years of attorney experience in a law firm or equivalent environment.
• Strong technical skills with generative AI, LLMs, and machine learning in legal practice.

Responsibilities

• Develop and build generative AI workflows, use cases, and prompts for the practice of law.
• Train lawyers and timekeepers on AI and conduct workshops and roundtables.
• Vet, pilot, and support onboarding of AI technology for the legal practice.
• Maintain knowledge of firm AI tools, features, and roadmaps.
• Communicate with clients on AI and legal tech solutions.
