Job summary

Orrick currently has an excellent opportunity for a Technology Companies Group (TCG) Innovation Attorney. This role can be based in any U.S. office with consideration for 100% remote locations within the United States.

The TCG Innovation Attorney will drive innovation initiatives across people, process, and technology to enhance delivery of legal services for emerging technology companies. You will collaborate with the Innovation team, leadership of the TCG practice, and cross-functional

Qualifications

J.D. required and admitted to practice in a US jurisdiction.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex ideas to diverse audiences.
Excellent project management, prioritization and organizational abilities.
Self-starter who can work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
Willingness to travel as necessary.
Experience with legal technology and AI in legal services is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead and support efforts to optimize client service delivery within the TCG practice.
Coordinate projects to streamline the delivery of legal services and drive efficiency.
Lead digitalization and automation initiatives within the practice.
Manage data strategy, matter/deal data tracking, and resource utilization.
Identify and promote AI-enabled workflows and practice tools.
Design and rollout AI workflow agents and measure ROI.
Develop and maintain AI-enabled knowledge resources and precedents.
Create dashboards and analytics to inform strategy and client advising.
Collaborate across offices, practice groups, and departments.
