Job summary

Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP seeks an innovative Technology Companies Group (TCG) Innovation Attorney for a role that can be based in any U.S. office or 100% remote.

The attorney will drive innovation to improve delivery of legal services through people, process and technology, focusing on the TCG practice. The role reports to the Managing Director of Practice Innovation and collaborates with TCG leadership to lead projects spanning data strategy, AI-powered workflows, and knowledge

Qualifications

Juris Doctorate and admission to practice in a US jurisdiction.
Minimum five years of large law firm experience in private offerings, venture capital, and transactions for emerging companies.
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
Familiarity with legal technology and AI/generative AI applications in legal services.

Responsibilities

Lead and support projects to optimize client service delivery for the TCG.
Coordinate and lead projects to digitalize the practice, including automation.
Vetting and onboarding technology, including generative AI, with ROI measurement.
Develop AI-powered workflow agents and solutions with guardrails and metrics.
Contribute to the TCG deal data dashboard and translate data into insights.
