Job summary

Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP is seeking an AI Project Attorney to advance the use of AI in delivering legal services. This role sits in the Innovation team and collaborates across offices, groups, and departments, with potential for 100% remote work within the US.

The AI Project Attorney will lead AI use cases, workflows, and prompts, train attorneys, and help deploy AI tools while staying current on market developments and best practices in the AI space.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited university and admission to practice in good standing in a US jurisdiction.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as an attorney in a law firm or comparable environment.
• Strong technical skills and aptitude with generative AI, LLMs, and ML in law.

Responsibilities

• Develop and build generative AI workflows, use cases, and prompts for the practice of law.
• Train lawyers on AI and conduct workshops, roundtables, and learning opportunities.
• Vet, pilot, and support onboarding and adoption of technology to assist legal practice.
• Stay informed on market changes, model updates, and best practices in AI.
