Job summary

Orrick is seeking a Technology Companies Group Innovation Attorney to lead and support innovation projects across the firm, focusing on improving client service delivery through people, process, and technology. The role collaborates with offices, practice groups, and departments and reports to the Managing Director of Practice Innovation.

The position involves leading AI and workflow automation initiatives, designing AI-powered agents, and advancing data dashboards while aligning with knowledge

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from a US-accredited law school and admission to practice in good standing.
• Minimum of five (5) years in a large law firm, focusing on private offerings, venture capital, and transactions for emerging companies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to present complex ideas to attorneys, managers, clients, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support projects to streamline and improve delivery of legal services across the TCG practice.
• Integrate technology, including generative AI, into legal practice and manage ROI.
• Design and rollout AI-powered workflow agents and solutions with governance and guardrails.
• Develop and maintain AI-enabled dashboards and improve access to practice content and knowledge assets.
• Educate and advise lawyers on client-facing solutions, firm resources, and technology initiatives.
