Job summary

Vital Care Infusion Services seeks a remote Home Infusion Billing Specialist to join our nationwide team. You will focus on collecting claims, reducing denials, and improving revenue cycle performance in a fully remote role.

You will review EOBs, communicate with insurers and patients, and help optimize processes. Candidates should have 2–5 years in home infusion billing and be adept with MS Office and pharmacy systems. This is a full-time remote position.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years home infusion billing/collections experience.
• High School Diploma with specialized training in intake, pharmacy/medical billing, and/or collections.
• Previous remote work experience is a plus.
• Detail oriented with post-billing and post-payment investigative experience.

Responsibilities

• Review claims with outstanding balances and identify actions to collect revenues while following up with insurers and patients.
• Review documents (EOBs, RAs) to identify denials, take corrective action, and drive timely collection.
• Analyze denials, identify trends, and propose process improvements to reduce DSO and bad debt.
• Identify payor requirements for appeals for denied claims and submit documentation accordingly.
• Communicate status with franchise partners and other departments to resolve payer issues.
• Document case activity in the system and schedule required follow-ups.
• Investigate and verify benefits for pharmacy and medical third‑party claims.
• Explain therapy costs to patients and ensure understanding before start of service.
• Contribute to training materials and process improvements for the RCM team.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
