Job summary

Vital Care Infusion Services is seeking a remote Home Infusion Billing Specialist to join our US-based team. You will focus on collecting Home Infusion claims, reducing denials, improving DSO, and identifying revenue opportunities while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

This is a 100% remote, full-time role requiring 2–5 years of home infusion billing/collections experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with payer portals and pharmacy software.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years home infusion billing and/or collections experience.
• High School Diploma and additional specialized training in intake, pharmacy/medical billing, and/or collections.
• Previous remote work environment is a plus but not required.
• Detail oriented with post-billing and post-payment investigative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review claims with outstanding balances and identify actions to collect revenues.
• Follow up with insurers and patients to collect outstanding balances.
• Utilize payer portals for claim disposition and status updates.
• Analyze denials, identify trends, and propose process improvements to reduce DSO and bad debt.
• Identify payor requirements for submittals and submit appeals per payor guidelines.
• Document case activity and schedule follow-ups to ensure resolution of outstanding claims.
