GovCIO is actively seeking an Infrastructure Security Lead for a Coast Guard program. The role is fully remote within the United States, requiring a Secret clearance, with CISSP certification preferred to oversee a broad security posture across ICAM, network security, and compliance.

Qualifications

• 12 years of progressive information security experience.
• 3–5 years in a leadership/lead role.
• Clearance Required: Must be clearable up to an active Secret clearance.
• Certification Required: CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)

Responsibilities

• Oversee and mature security posture across network security, ICAM, and boundary protection services.
• Lead security architecture reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments for infrastructure.
• Establish and maintain security incident response, detection, and recovery capabilities; lead major security incidents.
• Define and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures; ensure alignment with frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, FISMA, FedRAMP).
• Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing security team.
