Job summary

Jobgether on behalf of a partner is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer based in the United States. This fully remote role supports Oracle Utilities environments across North America and requires hands‑on Linux administration, networking, scripting, and middleware optimization.

You will design, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot resilient infrastructure across servers, databases, and application environments, working with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of infrastructure experience.
• Strong Linux server administration and scripting.
• Experience with network/firewall/VPNs.
• Ability to communicate technical plans to non-technical audiences.
• Travel 10–25% in the US.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, maintain, and optimize infrastructure across servers, networks, databases, and applications.
• Configure lightweight Linux servers and automate startup tasks.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, firewalls, VPNs, and switches.
• Provide client IT support and communicate risks and plans.
• Develop implementation plans and monitor operational metrics.
• Support on-call rotations and travel as needed.
