New Relic, Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design and operate a scalable ingress data plane, ensuring stability and performance of our global service mesh and load balancing solutions.

You will craft automated, IaC-driven deployments and collaborate with product and platform teams to drive cross-team excellence. You will leverage Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate safe changes, while expanding our DNS/CDN footprint and improving observability across

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional Go or Python coding experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on AWS cloud experience.
• Hands-on with CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and pipelines.
• Strong networking fundamentals (DNS, HTTP, TCP).
• Experience with Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.

• Design and operate a scalable, resilient ingress data plane for global service mesh and load balancing.
• Improve DNS and CDN infrastructure to enable high performance at scale.
• Use automation and infrastructure-as-code to accelerate safe, incremental deployments.
