Job summary

Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, is seeking an Industry Technical Consultant for the Safety Institutional Healthcare division. You will implement new technology, assist sales reps with technical calls, and develop market opportunities across the Northeast region.

The role includes on-site audits, field training, and collaboration with marketing to capture sales opportunities. Travel 50%+ and a Bachelor's degree are required; a technical engineering background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 10+ years of technical implementation, production management, process engineering, technical sales, or field sales support experience.
• 50%+ overnight travel required.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable MVR required.
• No immigration sponsorship offered.

Responsibilities

• Assist sales reps and Corporate Account Managers in industry-specific technical/application sales calls and presentations.
• Identify and define market and product opportunities within a specific industry for customers.
• Develop plans with field and other SBU members to capture opportunities.
• Conduct on-site audits to assess and solve customer problems or meet requirements.
• Provide on-the-job product and sales training and develop training materials for field sales programs.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales to identify new product applications and training.
• Coach individuals on processes, applications, technologies, and value documentation.
