WEG Electric Corp. is seeking an Industry Manager for Aggregate and Mining to drive sustainable growth by targeting major OEMs and adjacent applications.

You will lead cross-functional teams to align commercial strategy with WEG’s portfolio and long-term objectives, while expanding market share in the aggregate and mining industries. The role emphasizes new business development, strategic negotiations, and collaboration with product management and engineering.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent direct related work experience (electric motors and electronics).
• 5+ years of relevant work experience is required.
• Deep knowledge of Motor products and applications.
• Knowledge of competitor products and go to market strategies.
• Market research tools.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business development and lead sales opportunities within aggregate and mining sectors.
• Coordinate with area managers, account managers and application engineers to win OEM business.
• Lead commercial negotiations to support profitable growth.
• Collaborate across product management to tailor industry-specific portfolios.
• Develop reports on customer purchasing behavior, pipeline and market trends.
• Travel domestically and internationally to strengthen customer relationships.
