Job summary

Promat seeks a TII Segment Sales Manager to drive strategic direction, commercial leadership, and business development for the Thermal Insulation - Industrial segment in North America. The role is remote from anywhere in the United States and requires collaboration with sales, marketing, product, and global teams.

You will engage key customers, manage opportunities, and deliver growth through market expansion, channel optimization, and effective account development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of High Temperature Industry technical sales experience.
• Background in refractory sales strongly preferred.
• Understanding of manufacturing methods, thermal insulation, and heat transfer.
• Proficiency in Salesforce.com or similar CRM.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
• Acquired knowledge of product lines, applications, and pricing.
• Experience representing Promat at industry events.

Responsibilities

• Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and untapped segments.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders for value-driven solutions.
• Develop and execute a proactive sales strategy aligned with growth objectives.
• Provide expert guidance on TII applications and cost-saving benefits.
• Monitor trends and competitor activity to inform planning.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product Development, Supply Chain and Customer Service.
• Prepare detailed reports and forecasts of growth opportunities and dynamics.
• Represent Promat at trade shows and seminars to enhance brand visibility.
• Coordinate with international teams to align global initiatives.
