Job summary

TransUnion in the United States is seeking a Cyber Incident and Data Breach Case Manager to lead a portfolio of breach response projects, coordinating clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely, accurate case resolution in a remote setting.

You will analyze datasets, document case facts, manage communications, and stay current with breach notification requirements while maintaining high service levels.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of project management experience or equivalent education/certifications.
• 3–7 years of client-facing experience in project management, incident response, or similar high-pressure setting.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams with independent judgment and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal English communication and empathetic client support.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of cyber incidents and data breach cases with minimal supervision.
• Serve as the primary client contact, coordinating proposals, contracts, schedules, and service delivery.
• Analyze, clean, reconcile, and manage complex breach data for notification and fulfillment.
• Coordinate breach communications, data transfers, and mailings with clients and vendors.
• Monitor progress, risks, and stakeholder expectations; escalate as needed.
• Document case facts, statements, and evidence; maintain timely case notes and reporting.
• Ensure awareness of breach requirements and incorporate obligations into communications.
• Close incidents and deliver final case reporting to stakeholders.
