Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Manager to lead client engagements in cyber incident response, data breach assessment, and information security events. You will guide remediation, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and communicate with executives while driving post-incident recovery.

You will mentor teams, manage complex engagements, and advise clients on regulatory obligations, with a focus on delivering board-ready communications and strategic improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in cyber incident response, data breach response, digital forensics, privacy/cybersecurity consulting, risk advisory, or related disciplines.
• Strong understanding of security threats, vulnerabilities, and incident response.
• Familiarity with electronic discovery and analysis basics.
• Strong privacy and data protection regulation knowledge across jurisdictions.
• Experience supervising engagement teams and reviewing work products.
• Excellent executive communication and client-facing consulting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end breach response engagements following incident containment and forensic investigation.
• Direct assessment of impacted data to determine exposure of sensitive information.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across cybersecurity, privacy, legal, and compliance.
• Advise on notification, regulatory, contractual, and reporting obligations.
• Oversee data review, impact assessments, and decisions for affected individuals/organizations.
• Develop executive-level reports, regulatory submissions, and board communications.
• Guide remediation planning and implementation, including control enhancements.
• Manage large multi-workstream projects with tight deadlines and stakeholder engagement.
• Provide strategic counsel to client leadership during high-profile incidents.
• Mentor teams to ensure quality and consistency of deliverables.
