Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, cybersecurity or a related field.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in cyber incident response, data breach response, digital forensics, privacy consulting, cybersecurity consulting, risk advisory, or related disciplines.
• Deep understanding of security threats, vulnerabilities, and incident response.
• Familiarity with electronic discovery and analysis legalities.
• Strong privacy and data protection regulation knowledge across jurisdictions.
• Experience supervising engagement teams and reviewing deliverables.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel and work long hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end breach response engagements after containment and forensic investigation.
• Assess impacted data to determine exposure of sensitive information.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including cybersecurity, privacy, legal, forensic, compliance and client stakeholders.
• Advise on notification, regulatory, contractual, and reporting obligations.
• Oversee data review, impact assessments, and decisions for affected individuals and organizations.
• Develop executive reports, client deliverables, regulatory submissions and board communications.
• Guide remediation planning and implementation with process improvements.
• Manage large multi-workstream projects with tight deadlines.
• Provide strategic counsel to client leadership during high-profile incidents.
• Mentor engagement teams to ensure quality of deliverables.
