Job summary

Pano AI seeks an Associate - Community Outreach and Incident Analysis to review smoke incident alerts for relevance to utility customers and manage relationships with fire authorities and disaster management agencies. This role is remote in the United States, with high-touch communication for pre- and post-deployment support.

The ideal candidate will have wildland fire experience, a BS/BA, and 2+ years in related fields.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Wildfire, Forestry, or Disaster Management roles; federal or state wildland fire experience preferred.
• Wildland fire dispatch experience or wildfire science/tech in operational environments is required.
• Strong communication, customer success, and collaboration skills are essential.
• Ability to travel up to 20% and work across U.S. time zones, including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assess and prioritize wildfire incidents in real time and determine threats to customers.
• Deliver fast, accurate curated alerts within established workflows.
• Support rapid deployments and field operations at incidents with mobile equipment and training.
• Build and enable the fire community through outreach, onboarding and ongoing engagement with end-users.
• Improve program insights by surfacing feedback to Product, Customer Success, Operations and Sales.
