Job summary

Tyler Technologies Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead the implementation of Enforcement Mobile software for new and existing accounts, from contract signing to transition to CSAM and Support Teams. The role requires coordinating schedules, resources, and budgets while ensuring on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Typically, a minimum of three years of experience as an implementation professional (or equivalent/like experience).
• Experience in Public Safety domain and/or experience using Enterprise Public Safety software, or equivalent software solution.
• Work toward obtaining PMP certification and maintain status after certification.
• Software life cycle and enterprise software knowledge.
• Excellent planning, organizational skills and ability to follow-through until process are completed.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical and non-technical information to various audiences including management.
• Proficiency using computers and exposure to IT infrastructure components.
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical ability, particularly in a technical environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Project.
• Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and persuasion skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop the implementation project plan and officially start projects by conducting kick-off meetings with clients and other staff as needed.
• Work with the sales team as the contract is signed, becoming familiar with contract requirements, program modifications, and other site-specific background information.
• Manage and assume accountability for all aspects of projects related to delivery of client software and services including resources, schedule, and budget.
• Plan and track all project activity and guide the client through release planning.
• Track project hours and submit monthly project status reports.
• Monitor and review revenue recognition and bring concerns to management as needed.
• Manage scope, time and cost to meet client commitments.
• Document and report status and issues; manage risks and roadblocks.
• Act as client liaison and resolve outstanding issues in a timely manner.
• Conduct planning sessions with the client's key leaders to create documented management plans.
• Ensure clients pay invoices in a timely manner and assist with collections as needed.
• Travel to client sites as required.
